During Commonwealth games to be held in October 2010, Delhi will witness 5 new stadiums and a games village.

Commonwealth games village built around a 47.3 hectare (118 acre) is located on the National Highway - 24 adjacent to to many renowned monuments and Indian landmarks like Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple and Akshardham Temple on the banks of the holy river Yamuna in the capital city, New Delhi.

Facilities at Commonwealth games village

Gymnasium, multi purpose hall, tennis and basketball courts, 100% power back up, treated water supply system, security, pollution-free environment, CCTV, Intercom, Wi-Fi, Kids crèche, 30 M Swimming pool are some of the amenities at the EMAAR MGF Commonwealth games village.

EMAAR MGF Land Private Limited is a joint venture between EMAAR Properties PJSC Dubai and MGF Development Limited, India. The commonwealth games village will house over 8,000 athletes and officials and it will set new standards for green infrastructure development.
