Commonwealth Youth Games

Children and young people participate in the commonwealth youth games.

The Commonwealth Youth Games were held first in 2000 at Edinburgh, Scotland. The second in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia, in 2004 and the third commonwealth youth Games took place in 2008, at Pune, India.

The fourth commonwealth youth games are going to be held in Douglas, Isle of Man, in 2011. From 2011 onwards the youth games will be after a four-year period as the bigger commonwealth games.
