Teachers Day Activities

World Teacher’s Day activities can be in the form of an award ceremony recognizing the good work done by outstanding teachers and their contribution to the society and hence to the whole world. National Teacher’s Day activities comprise conferences, cultural events, meets and fun activities. There are unique and brilliant activity ideas for teachers. Teachers Day Celebrations


Preparations for Teacher's Day celebrations start a month ahead with the tiny tots rehearsing for their cultural performances. Students have always felt that they can never thank their teachers enough for all that they got from them. To make this day special for them, students gift their teachers with beautiful and thoughtful gifts, greetings cards, and loving messages. Schools and colleges all over India arrange for colourful cultural programs, interesting activities, and games for teachers to participate. Gifts are arranged for the teachers along with Teachers’ Day cards with sweet sayings and quotes written on them. In Bhutan, Teacher’s Day is celebrated on May 2 to pay respect to the third king of Bhutan Jigme Dorji Wangchuck on his birth anniversary for initiating the modern system of education in the country.
