Lohri Poems

Lots of poems have been composed over the ages celebrating the glory and the rich ancient heritage of India and poems on Lohri are no exception. These Lohri poems in Hindi or in Punjabi are very popular and are chanted by young and old during the festivities. Do jhul payeaan kahjurran
Khajurran suttya meva
Es munde de ghar mangeva
Es munde di voti nikdi
Oh! khandi choori, kutdi
Kut! Kut! Bharaya thaal woti bave nananaa nal
Ninaan te wadi parjaee
So kudma de ghar aayee!
