Marbled Cat

Marbled Cat is a small wild cat found in South and Southeast Asia. As per the available facts and information from the wildlife conservation, the size of Marbled Cats is less than 10,000 and it is listed as vulnerable by IUCN since 2002.

Conservation of Marbled Cat

The life of Marbled Cat is in very dangerous situation due to the heavy hunting. It is rarely sighted in its densely forested habitat. The International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN) classify it as Indeterminate and the species is approaching extinction. The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) prohibits the international trade of marbled cats.
