Sperm Whale

The Sperm Whale is a toothed whale and has largest brain. Found in all oceans in the world, it is the only living member in genus Physeter. As per the facts and information provided by the wildlife conservation, sperm whale is listed as vulnerable and is facing deep crisis.

Various countries have prohibited the commercial whaling and hunting of Sperm Whales to protect the habitat of this species. The US Jurisdiction is also coming with strong laws to protect the habitat of this species. Therefore the population of this whale is slowly increasing.
