Fathers and Sons
Fathers and sons can be the best of friends and can have the loveliest moments to share between them. But there is also the complexity of generation gap and that has to be sorted out at the roots to have a mutually respectful and loving father and son relationship. There’s also a very famous book “Father and Sons” written by a Russian author Evan Turgenev in 1862, which deals with nuances of a father and son relationship. There are Biblical tales, classical mythological tales, conventional folklores, that have time and again highlighted the age-old topic of conflict and love between fathers and sons. The stories of Oedipus and Laius, and Daedalus and Icarus, and Abraham and Isaac are glorious examples.
