When is Teachers Day

Teachers’ Day date varies from country to country as each country chooses and picks one special occasion for showing respect and honour to the teachers of the country. World Teachers’ Day is celebrated on October 5 each year. In India, every year, Teachers’ Day is celebrated on the September 5 to celebrate the birthday of the great teacher and one of the finest President that the country has ever seen, Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishan. In Singapore, similarly, the first Friday of the month of September is celebrated as Teachers’ Day and the day is officially a holiday for the students and students celebrate Teachers’ Day the previous day in schools and colleges.
