Happy New Year in Spanish

Happy New Year in Spanish language is not actually a normal wish but a wish for a prosperous New Year. People greet each other through Prospero Ano Nuevo, which is actually not wishing a happy year ahead but a prosperous year ahead. Or it might also be Feliz Ano Nuevo. Happy New Year in Spanish Mexican or in Mexican, which is more or less similar to Spanish, is Feliz Navidad. Images of the glittering celebrations all over Spain of the brilliantly decorated giant Christmas trees, depiction of folk art nativity scenes, family feasts and get-togethers, fireworks and the huge and colorful processions are displayed in various websites and published in various media sources like TV and newspapers that show merry making and happy cheerful faces.
